The first question to answer is simple: will you carry people or goods? The answer decides which models fit, how you will find work and what your running costs look like.

Carrying passengers

Passenger tuk-tuks work stage routes, private hire and short transfers. MRL sells two: the diesel Baxy Express and the electric Baxy Lion. Diesel suits longer days and routes where charging is hard to plan. Electric suits regular town routes where you can charge between shifts.

Carrying goods

Cargo tuk-tuks serve shops, markets, farms and building sites. The Champion range runs on petrol in 200, 250 and 300 cc, and the CH250/T adds a tipper body for sand and ballast. The diesel Baxy Super King carries bulky goods over longer distances.
