1. About the Programme
The MRL Motors Refer & Earn Programme (the “Programme”) rewards people who introduce new buyers to MRL Motors. By taking part, you agree to these terms.
2. Who Can Take Part
There are two ways to take part:
- MRL customers: you own an MRL vehicle and still have an outstanding payment-plan balance.
- Affiliates: you do not own an MRL vehicle, or you own one and have fully paid it off. Affiliates must register with MRL Motors by phone or WhatsApp before referring.
You must be at least 18 years old. MRL Motors staff and Authorised Dealer staff cannot take part.
3. Making a Referral
- Tell the person you are referring to give your full name and phone number when they visit an MRL branch or Authorised Dealer.
- The referral must be recorded at the time of purchase. Referrals cannot be added after the vehicle has been released.
- Each buyer can only be referred by one person. If two people claim the same buyer, the name the buyer gives at the branch is final.
- You cannot refer yourself or a vehicle bought in your own name.
4. When a Referral Qualifies
A referral qualifies when the referred buyer’s vehicle is released, whether bought for cash or on a payment plan. A referral does not qualify if the sale is cancelled or the vehicle is returned before release.
5. Your Reward
You earn KSh 10,000 for each qualifying referral. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.
- MRL customers: the reward is credited to your payment-plan balance.
- Affiliates: the reward is paid in cash to your registered M-Pesa number.
6. When You Are Paid
Rewards are processed after the referred vehicle has been released. [Timeframe to be confirmed by MRL Motors.]
7. Your Information
To pay your reward, we record your name, phone number and, for affiliates, your M-Pesa number. We handle this information under our Privacy Policy.
8. Fair Use
MRL Motors may withhold or reverse a reward if a referral is false, misleading or made in breach of these terms.
9. Changes to the Programme
MRL Motors may change or end the Programme at any time. Referrals for vehicles released before a change are honoured on the terms in place at the time of release.
