Charge with the supplied charger, avoid running the battery completely flat, park in the shade where you can, and keep the charging socket clean and dry. Report any drop in range early.
Everyday charging
Heat is the enemy
Batteries age faster when they are hot. Park in the shade during breaks, and if you can, let the battery cool for a while after a long run before you start charging.
Signs to get the battery checked
Range dropping
Noticeably fewer kilometres from a full charge than before.
Slow to charge
Taking much longer than usual to reach full.
Charger faults
Lights, sounds or error codes you have not seen before.
Heat or smell
The battery or charger feels very hot or gives off a smell. Unplug and call us.
Keep it dry and clean
Keep the charging socket covered when not in use and never charge with wet hands or in standing water. Wipe dust from the socket before plugging in.
